THE BLACK RESILIENCE PROJECT
The Black Resilience Project is a robust initiative that allows Black people to share their experiences of how sharecropping impacted their lives.
We must record testimonials about the impact of the sharecropping system from those who lived it, so that no one can create a false narrative about the actual ramifications of the system.
THE PROCESS
| Step | Action |
|---|---|
| 1 | We start by asking people to complete a survey that allows them to share basic information about their experiences. |
| 2 | Then, we ask them to participate in a longer video or audio recorded session to elaborate on the information they shared in a testimonial. |
| 3 | We upload the testimonial to the website to share as an important aspect of Black history. |
| 4 | We provide Certificates of Appreciation to all participants for sharing their testimonials |
| 5 | We enter all participants into a raffle to win gratitude gifts each quarter. |
